Ms. Regina 'Califa' Calloway, an esteemed and visionary Woman of Faith, spearheads global African Diaspora missions that fortify and unite dynamic and didactic Family kinship through communal exchanges and signature programming, echoing Ancestral wisdom.

Since 1993, Ms. Calloway is a dedicated Family Historian and active member of kinship societies, including the Inaugural Class of the Midwestern African American Genealogy Institute (Afrigeneas.com Scholar) and affiliations with the African American Genealogical Society of Northern California and AAHGS Metro Atlanta Chapter. She contributes her expertise through Scholarly Research, Keynote Panels, and Curatorial Leadership. Current initiatives include programming Genealogy and Family History workshops in Libraries, Churches and partnered with legacy Community organizations.

With over three decades in Performance Arts, Ms. Calloway excels as a Creative, Technicianand Producer, collaborating with premier African dance companies Fua Dia Congo and Ceedo Senegalese Dance Company. A foundational member of DeRompe y Raja Afro-Peruvian and Obakoso Afro-Cuban, she commands both stage and production with Artistic mastery and production finesse.

Her leadership has left an indelible mark through roles with prominent Diaspora Dance Cultural organizations in the Bay Area, California: Emesè: Messengers of the African Diaspora, Diata Diata, Loco Bloco, Belleza Bateria, and Co-Founder of Boomshake's Global Street Drum for Women of Color, she has helped shape movement-building initiatives that amplify cultural expression, communal empowerment, cultivating generations of Artists, who ignite fresh Artistic legacies.

As a Cultural Caretaker, she has curated and produced globally recognized showcases, including Aji-tos Arts & Culture Nigerian Artists of Oṣogbo & Oyo State[2004] and Lahydi African Dance Festival[2007, 2008]. Some production credits include: Malaki Matanga Congolese Repertoire[Producing Partner, 2010] "Night of Tribute" SF Mainstage[Executive Producer, 2015] and Malongafest/ Malonga Music Listening Party[Presenting Partner, 2021].
